No CommentsMedal of Honor on the Xbox 360 stole my Word Press time! Plus I got more jobs now so I have less time to update shit! But fuck that!
Apparently Microsoft has been working on the Flight Simulator, which I heard was shut down. It was simply name-changed to Microsoft Flight. The idea there was apparently to make it more accessible, but keeping with the hardcore users. The graphics look awesome, as they always do. I am somewhat pissed that this project has been in the works for a year and just now I am finding out about it. The website, btw, is www.microsoft.com/games/flight.
So I am in the process of building a new computer, the early stages, and this time around I was actually going to build a Linux box and run windows 8 as a virtual machine. No hardware consideration for gaming at all or Windows. But this actually changes everything for me, because now I want to play this game. I will just make a separate box for Linux, just not full of the lastest hardware. Hello Core i7, Windows 8 and about $500 on a graphics card (nVidia as usual, even thought I have stock in AMD). Windows 8 will be my primary (I think this time I might actually buy it lol)(of course that is what I said about Vista and 7).

I always have loved sites like this. Still on look out for more and will post them here as I find them.

This is just something that I’ve enjoyed looking since I was a kid. I used to get posters of these pictures or a calendar sometimes. Name a cooler view of our deficit!

I think that about half of my fellow workers just think #ows is lazy commie fleabaggers, but they all just seem to watch TV or listen some conservative and thusly reach this narrow minded view. Reaching out to other disciplines is always nice, which is where I found this article over on the investing side of things.
No CommentsSo maybe the government(s) are a little scared of this occupy movement. Having a highly dissatisfied citizenry is potential for demonstration which then leads to uprising. The demonstrations are happening and I am sure they are thinking about the next step beyond. In the old days, they established the right for the average citizen to bear arms as a way to make it harder for the government to suppress ideas it did not like. That is older thinking, because today you could have a mob armed to the teeth and the police could use a sonic weapon against you, use tear gas or any number of other non-lethal weapons and disperse the unwanted protestors without much resistance. It fact, you would be a heaping, sobbing pile on the ground with your AK while getting zip tied and thrown in a cell. Remove the gun from the equation and put a phone connected to the whole world and I bet you don’t get zip-tied and if you do, the world will see the injustice. Nowadays, instead of guns we have a better, more effective and worldwide tool, called the internet to support freedom of speech. And on here it is much harder to suppress a movement like this. So fuck the NRA (old time, outdated and frankly bad for the country) and support the EFF. This is where its at.
No CommentsCheck out this site here if you are interested in helping the #occupy cause, which is now worldwide. More members in the movement daily! With so many new happening in this movement, it is hard to keep track of the latest info. The main source of info for me comes from Twitter which I retweet so follow at @kazimierez. PLUS “Good News Everyone! Twitter wants to protect freedom of speech!”

So far there seems to be two camps on this issue, amongst the people I know and work with. There are those that see what this movement is really all about and also understand the facts and historical data behind it. The other group are a bit more ignorant and view it as a bunch of lazy bones out of work who gather together and camp out for lack of anything better to do. Something needs to be done now. The problem is, if the latter view overtakes and the current economic trend continues we are not all that far off from average people resorting to breaking the law to make ends meet. Breaking into a rich house on the hill used to be the domain of the drug addict. Now enter the family man, just as desperate, but with morality on his side and most of all, a level head, not drug addled. Try to catch him, his brother may be the cop you call. So everyone ignores the plea of OWS now, and the 1% continue to be safe. But as the poorer get poorer they begin to rob the top 40% just to make ends meet. Five more years from now, simply having excess makes you a victim for millions of desperate hard working Americans who have been screwed at work, but now need more to make ends meet and break into your house late at night to get gas to go to work, or objects to pawn or sell to buy shoes for their kids.
On a side note, read this article on snitch.
